The Committee of Industry and Energy at Asharqia Chamber discussed with His Excellency Dr. Sahl bin Nashat Abduljawad, Director General of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dhahran Techno Valley Company, ways to strengthen cooperation with the university in the service of the labor market, during the Committee's visit, which is headed by Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, to the University's headquarter in Dhahran on Tuesday 29 January 2019.
Al-Sheikh said that the Committee had seen the huge potential of the University and the educational and training tracks, which would qualify national human resources through commensuration with the diverse disciplines of the labor market and various tasks in line with the development in the business sector in various regional and global countries.
The Committee also visited the Institute of Research and recognized its research and information contributions, in addition to services provided to the private sector.
They also reviewed aspects of cooperation in order to make use of the possibilities of the Institute and the Dhahran Technology Valley to develop innovations that can be adopted by the industrial sector.
In conclusion, Al-Sheikh presented a memorial shield to His Excellency Dr. AbdulJawad.
